COVID-19 Pandemic
As a licensed Bed and Breakfast in the state of Nebraska, we continue to closely monitor the status of the COVID-19 pandemic and abide by all regulations and recommendation of the CDC and the state.
We have always focused on cleanliness and now even more so. We have added additional sanitation steps in our guest rooms and common areas and have implemented enhanced health and safety measures to minimize any exposure risks.
We ask that if you are in the high-risk category, have any symptoms or have been around someone that has tested positive or are not comfortable with our policies and procedures, please choose to visit us at a later date. Guests are not required to wear masks in the common areas nor when on the property. Guests assume all risks when visiting.
Check in/Check out: Your room key will be left in your room door to eliminate passing them back and forth, and can be left there when you check out.
Breakfast Service: We can offer grab and go option for you to take to your room or, in good weather, outside to the pergola. Otherwise, we have a dining area that can accommodate 3 individual parties, as well as we can stagger breakfast times should you desire. We know that many individuals have received the COVID-19 vaccination and now choose to sit together at a common table. Please let us know your preference at check in.
In Room Updates: ALL of our guest rooms now have small refrigerators, stocked with water and soda pop. ALL rooms also now have K-cup style coffee makers (but Karen still makes a great pot of coffee downstairs 1 hour before breakfast!) Our bathroom disinfectants and procedures meet/exceed the CDC guidelines. All non-washables, such as drapes, cloth furniture, and bedspreads are sprayed with disinfectant.
Common areas: All hard and high-touch surfaces, such as light-switches, door knobs railings, etc,,, are sanitized prior to guest stays. There is a bottle of hand sanitizer in the lounge area and in each guest room. Should you wish to play a game or cards, please use the hand sanitizer prior to using and please set the item aside for a “cooling off period” after you’re done using it.
Cancellations: During these uncertain times, if you decide to cancel less than 72 hours prior to your arrival, we will be charging your credit card for the full amount of your stay. Any cancellation more than 72 hours before arrival will not be charged.
We hope, when you are ready, you will choose to stay with us. And don’t worry, our famous Oatmeal Chocolate Chip cookies will still be baked fresh and waiting for you in your room!
